Removal of restrictions on the maximum amount of military pensions
In 2026, a limit on the maximum pension size was again introduced for military pensioners by Resolution No. 1778 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, which repeats the approach of Resolution No. 1 of 2025. The restrictions apply to pensions exceeding 10 subsistence minimums. If your pension exceeds UAH 25,950, it is “cut” according to reducing coefficients — even according to court decisions on your amount. The ruling only applies to those who are suing or already have a decision in their favor.
